Design

The design process is completed through 4 stages:

1. Initial Consultation

Sticks & Stones meet with you onsite to discuss your design needs. Through this consultation, the seed of creativity and inspiration is discovered. The consultation is expected to last 45-60 minutes, which provides us the opportunity to understand and discuss your expectations for the desired space. This consultation is charged at a fee of $250+GST. Following the consultation, we will collate the information and provide you with a Brief and Quote for our Concept design.

2. Concept Design

Here, we plant the seed. Our concept provides you with an overall design of the garden. Solutions to any problem areas are brought to light while providing visions of inspiration for the spaceThe concept design is presented onsite and you can expect the following:

  • Concept landscape plan
  • Selected perspective views
  • Concept images and material palettes
  • 1 hour client consultation onsite to present the Concept Design

3. Construction Plans

It’s all in the details! Upon approval of the Concept plan, you can choose to engage with sticks & stones to prepare the construction plans. While the Concept provides you with the framework for your design, the final touch’s and specific details are addressed in the construction plan. Through another site, we review materials and finishes, providing samples to ensure an accurate and convenient decision is made. Following the approval of materials, a set of construction plans will be provided, which may include:

  • Final landscape plan
  • Scope of Works
  • Finishes & levels Plan
  • Construction detail drawings
  • Lighting Plan
  • Planting Plan

Design’s start from $5,600, however an accurate design fee is determined after the initial consultation.

4. Quote

A scope of works & detailed plans, allow for accurate quoting. Upon completion of the Construction documentation, sticks & stones can provide a quote for the landscape works.
